# What works in Marrow today, what is rough and what is not built

Capture by voice, card photo, screenshot and typed line works, as do follow ups, briefs, structured replies, lists of people and the web checkout. Rough edges remain in names heard in noisy voice notes and in cards that photograph badly. Email sync, a shared workspace and an iPhone widget are not built.

Marrow is in Beta. This page is kept current so that nobody has to find out the hard way. Last checked 10 October 2026.

## What is solid

Capture works from a voice note, a card photo, a screenshot of a thread or a typed line, and the reply says what was saved, so a wrong name shows at once.
Follow ups keep a date worked out in code, with Done, Snooze and a reminder at the time you set.
The daily brief arrives at your chosen time and the weekly brief on Mondays, skipped when empty.
Each reply starts with what was done, one line per thing saved, and asks at most one question at a time, with buttons where there is a choice.
Ask Marrow to find people and it searches the open web and public profiles in the background. What it finds becomes a list you can add from, dismiss, search and export.
With the switch on, the phone writer keeps the people Marrow added current, adding a new number, email or link and never removing anything.
You buy a plan on the web at checkout or from Telegram, not inside the app.
Each person has a private record of their own, and nothing is shared between accounts. A Teams plan pays for several seats and still shares nothing between members.

English and Arabic are held to launch quality, and one conversation is shared by the app and Telegram.

## What is rough

- A name heard in a noisy voice note can come out wrong. Tell Marrow the right spelling and the record is fixed.
- A lookup can pick the wrong person when the name is common. Check what it filled, and correct it in the person's editor.
- A crumpled or glossy card may need a second photo.
- Switching the app to Arabic changes the words at once, and the right to left layout follows after you close Marrow and open it again.
- French, Spanish and Chinese are understood and answered, but not held to the standard of English and Arabic.
- The brief before a meeting comes when you ask. Nothing arrives before a meeting on its own.

## What is not built

- No email sync: Marrow knows about an email only through a screenshot or a forward.
- No shared workspace, and no connection to a company CRM.
- No sending on your behalf: Marrow drafts, you send.
- No WhatsApp channel.
- No sales pipeline: a deal has a title, a status and a timeline.
- No purchase inside the phone app. Export everything from Settings in the app, from Telegram or from the web view.
- No home screen widget on iPhone. The long press quick action does the same job, and Android has the widget.
- No brief time control in the app's Settings.

## What this page does not cover

Some capabilities ship switched off, and they are not described on this site. Where a page here says Marrow does something, it is built and on.

## How to report a problem

Write to hello@usemarrow.com with what you sent, what came back and what you expected. A screenshot helps. The [support page](/support) lists what to include.
