# What is relationship intelligence?

Relationship intelligence means using your history with people to answer practical questions: who you know, how warm each tie is, what is open. It draws on relationship memory and adds signals such as how recently you spoke and what has changed for the other person.

## Memory versus intelligence

Relationship memory is the record. Relationship intelligence is what you can ask of it: who is going quiet, what you owe this person, who you know at a company.

## An example

Before meeting Omran Fakhoury of Helios Rooftop Solar, a useful answer reads: met at the renewable energy expo, still waiting on the roof quote you promised. You open with the overdue quote instead of discovering it halfway through.

## In Marrow

Ask Marrow to prep you for a meeting and it answers from your own record. With no recent brief of their company, it also runs a company lookup, which counts as one. Marrow is in Beta.
