Questions before you start

Marrow is an app for iPhone and Android, in Beta. Telegram is optional, your phone changes only when you switch that on, nothing is sent on your behalf, and you buy on the web.

You start on your phone, with Telegram optional

Which phones does it run on? iPhone and Android phones, not tablets; download has the minimum versions. Marrow is in Beta.

Do I need Telegram? No. You sign in to the app with your email and a code, and subscribe on the web.

What if I use both? Link them in Settings for one account and one conversation.

Your phone changes only when you say so

Does it read my contacts? Only when you tap Import, or while the phone writer is on. Import brings your phone’s people into your record and deletes nothing.

What does the phone writer do? Once switched on, it adds each new person to your contacts with every number and email, asking first unless you choose automatic. When details change, it adds what the phone lacks, keeps what you typed yourself, and deletes nothing.

What about several numbers? A person can hold several numbers and emails, each with its label. A local number gets its country code when Marrow knows the country.

Does it read my calendar or email? Email, never. The calendar writer, once on, writes only into a calendar called Marrow.

Nothing leaves unless you send or share it

Does it send anything on my behalf? No. Marrow drafts and reminds; you send, and nobody is contacted.

Will it message me unasked? The daily brief arrives at 08:00 when there is something in it. On Telegram a bot cannot message you first1; in the app, only after you allow notifications.

Does it share my lists? No, unless you tap Share list. Anyone with that link sees the names, roles, companies and profile links on it, nothing else, until you tap Stop sharing.

Is my data sold or used to train models? No. Marrow does not sell user data or give third parties access to it, and training on data sent through the model providers’ APIs is switched off.

How do I export or delete? Tap Export everything in the app’s Settings, or send /export on Telegram, for one JSON file. To delete, open Settings, Delete my account; the account deletion page has the steps.

You pay on the web, never in the app

What does it cost? Standard is $12 per month or $120 per year (save $24 a year). Free for 30 days, no card.

How do I pay? Choose a plan on pricing, confirm your email with a code, and pay a third party payment provider named at checkout. On Telegram, /upgrade works.

Is there a team plan? Yes. Teams is $49 per seat per month, from 3 seats. Each member gets their own private Marrow; the buyer sees each member’s email address and nothing else.

What Marrow is, and is not

Does it work in Arabic? Yes, at launch quality, and the app turns right to left. French, Spanish and Chinese work in beta.

What if it finds the wrong person? When unsure, it lists the likely profiles for you to review, Yes or No each. Each new search is different and counts as a lookup.

Can it find people for me? Yes. Ask, and it searches the open web and public profiles in the background; each search counts as a lookup.

Is this a sales CRM? No. There are no pipelines, stages or forecasts.

Get Marrow on your phone.

Install the app, sign in with your email, and send it the last business card you are still carrying. Marrow is in Beta.

Marrow is also on Telegram: @UseMarrowBot. The app and Telegram share one conversation.
