Which personal CRM app fits you

As of 15 October 2026, Dex, Mesh, Covve, folk, Monica and Orvo each lead somewhere: syncing, scanning, teams or self hosting. Marrow, in Beta, is built for capture from a voice note, card or screenshot, with lookups and research.

A personal CRM keeps the people you know, what you said to them and what you owe them. This post reads six apps on their own pages on 15 October 2026 and says where each is strongest. Marrow is the seventh.

Where each is strongest, and what it costs

App Strongest at Price as listed
Dex Email, calendar and messaging sync, with mobile, web and desktop apps1 Premium “$12/month billed annually” or “$20/month billed monthly”2; a 6-day trial that needs a card3
Mesh A plan listed as “Free” “with credit card” for up to 1000 contacts that imports from email and calendar and shows job changes45 Pro listed at “$10” “/ month” in the default view6; a 14-day trial of Pro7

folk A CRM priced per member, with “Pipeline management”, enrichment, AI assistants and sync12 Standard “$24” per member a month billed yearly, “$30” billed monthly13; a 2 week trial, no card14

Orvo Email and calendar sync with AI meeting preparation1920 Pro “$19/mo”, billing period not stated21; a 14 day trial, no card22

Prices change, and several apps price annual and monthly billing differently, so read each page before you pay.

Where Marrow fits

Marrow is an app on your phone. A voice note, a card photo, a screenshot or a document becomes a person, with the context and a dated follow up. On request it looks a person up from their public profile, and it can search for people you have not met and build a list you review. It works in English and Arabic. Which plan includes research and lookups is on the pricing page.

It does not sync email or calendar, has no shared workspace, and has no connection to a company CRM. Standard is $12 per month or $120 per year (save $24 a year). Free for 30 days, no card.

If you only need a list, a spreadsheet may be enough: see the guide to a personal CRM in a spreadsheet.
